There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us.

  Damage/mischief to propertyDefacing property, breaking windows, egging buildings etc.
  Damage/mischief to vehicleDefacing vehicle, scratching/keying, egging, breaking windows, denting, breaking lights, slashing tires etc.
  Someone has obtained or used your personal or financial information without your permission such as: your name; date of birth; personal identification or banking information.Examples: - Bank account, credit application or credit card has been opened in your name - Your bank contacts you to say your card has been compromised and you need a police report
  Lost property reports are not actively investigated by the Waterloo Regional Police Service and are kept for records purposes. Lost property refers to items that were accidently left behind somewhere or misplaced.Lost jewelery, cellphones, GPS, laptop, tools, briefcase etc.
  Taking goods from a business without the owner or their agents permission and valid paymentA person enters your business location, selects merchandise and exits the premise making no attempt to pay for the selected merchandise.
  If your front, rear or both licence plates have been STOLEN please continue to fill out this form.As of November 1st, 2014 there has been a change in reporting requirement for lost or missing licence plates and Accessible Parking Permits (APP). The Province of Ontario no longer requires lost or missing licence plate(s)or APP(s) to be reported to the police. To replace a lost/missing plate or APP please visit a Service Ontario Retail Office.
  When property is taken without your permission. Use Theft from vehicle if the items were stolen from your car. Property known to be stolen and missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
  Property is stolen from your personal or business vehicle.Your vehicle has been entered without your permission and items that were inside were taken.
  Chronic Traffic problem in a Neighbourhood NOT relating to a specific vehicle or driver.Examples:
* speeding
* stop sign
* heavy trucks
  Relates to a specific driver or vehicle.Examples:
* distracted driving
* suspended drivers
* driving without insurance
* unsafe vehicles
* crossing guard offences
* not wearing a seatbelt
*round-a-bouts (fail to yield, passing)
* traffic light-controlled intersections (red lights, pedestrian safety)
* Heavy trucks (no truck route)
* Crosswalks & crossovers
  Any violation relating to a school bus.Examples:
* school bus driver behaviour
* motorists not abiding by school bus signals
